There is nothing more luxurious than a home filled with unique pieces of art. Art serves many purposes in the home. It is a conversation starter, a daily reminder of life’s beauty, a way to express your individuality through home decor, and a creative way to build an investment portfolio for some. ⁣

⁣Here is a look at some of our favourite artists and galleries to help elevate your home and life with art. ⁣💛

⁣🎨 Galerie de Bellefeuille Toronto: As one of Canada’s most recognized independent galleries, GdB has locations in Montreal and Toronto. Founded in 1980 by Helen and Jacques Bellefeuille, the gallery specializes in all aspects of Canadian and international art from paintings, prints, sculptures, and photography.⁣

We love supporting GdB. In the photo above, you can see an abstract painting by Jean-Francois Provost on the left-hand side of the frame above one of Marla’s favourite wire sculptures from Sophie DeFrancesca. Both of which, were curated by GdB. ⁣

🖼️ Bau-Xi Gallery: Originally established in Vancouver in 1965 by Bau-Xi Huang, the gallery’s intention was to showcase Canadian artists in need of gallery representation on the West Coast. In 1976, Bau-Xi Gallery expanded to Toronto where it has since become a hub in the art community, presenting and supporting artists across the country.⁣

Above, on the right-hand side, you can see a piece from Barbara Cole, an award-winning Canadian photographer, procured from Bau-Xi Gallery.
